Daniel sat frozen while the machines hummed around him, his thoughts racing faster than ever before. Days later, the results finally arrived, revealing that the growth was a massive sebaceous cyst that had become severely infected after years of neglect. Though not cancerous, the cyst had grown dangerously large and could have caused serious complications if left untreated much longer.
